The 2014-2015 season in the American Athletic Conference (AAC) was average at best. No team in the AAC made it beyond the third round of the NCAA Tournament. That may change this coming season. Connecticut, the team that won the NCAA championship in 2014 has the ability to go well beyond the Sweet Sixteen.
Memphis loses two (2) key players but recovered with some pretty good recruits. But can Coach Josh Pastner finally get Memphis beyond the round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament? Cincinnati gets its coach back in Mick Cronin and Tulsa is returning nearly all of their players from the 2014-2015 season.
